JIU [pronounced je-you] stands for "long-lasting" in the Chinese language. The JIU Swiss Designed Cleaver combines Chinese tradition with Kuhn Rikon's well-known high-quality and unique Swiss design. The "Lucky Clouds" iconic engraving is a nod to the Chinese cloud symbol. It stands for peace and happiness.

The wide face of the cleaver allows you to transfer ingredients to the pot without use of a spatula. The knife effortlessly glides through ingredients.
